WHAT IS THE CARBONISER?
The Carboniser is an Exeter Retort designed for the efficient production of charcoal by pyrolyzing organic matter. It was originally designed and engineered in Exeter Devon, UK.
It is designed to be operated by one person with a 1.7 cubic meter capacity and a 4 to 8 hour burn time. The pyrolysis leaves 100 charcoal with no ash or waste.
It is towable, environmentally friendly, and can be used to pyrolyze bone and other organic matter to produce high-quality charcoal which can be used to create Biochar or charcoal for cooking. It is also a great way to recycle waste plant material.
The Carboniser is now proudly manufactured in Sydney, Australia.
